The landowners where I deer hunt have need of a dog to keep varmints away ..as well as the hogs which have been coming up to the house .... I suggested they get a catahoula .... and they said that sounded good .... they want a female PUP ... well bred (good disposition and nature) this will be a pet and "yard dog" so hunting ability wont be a problem. get in touch with me if you know of such a dog.

EJ, I have a litter of catahoula pups with 1 female left. These dogs were bred for their hunting and herding abilites. This little female is very independent and looks more like a black mouth cur than a catahoula. I have a web site with all of the pups pictures if you are interested. I am located in Southwest Missouri. catahouladave.tripod.com/index.htmlLet me know what you think. Dave

Those are greal looking dogs! ..... but for the first time ever .. I was just looking for a DOG .. not a hunting dog! This dog will just be a yard dog and run varmints off. Im partial to Catahoulas myself. They saw a pup I have now and really liked her, to which I told them one of the same breed would make a good farm dog for them. Thanks for replying.
