I have a question for all of you BMC people. I'm looking at a 5 year old BMC male that is bred down from this bloodline. He could be easily misataken for a pit! I've heard of this bloodline being bully in appearance but this dog really looks like a bulldog! Is this normal for this line of dogs or did something else sneak in there!? It doesn't matter really because the dog is a jam up woods dog. I am just questioning his breeding, not that the man is dishonest but that something might have slipped into the pen when he wasn't looking! Dave

I have no idea what dog you are speaking of. send me his reg. number --tell me his name---go to ---dogbreedinfo.com click on all breeds, then click on Black Mouth Cur, you will see Carnathan's Light Foot, he is a typical Carnathan,s Bruno Blackmouth Cur Dog---80 pounds---straight hind-legs - high-flanks--long legs---he can run and keep up with the fox dogs for an hour or more! I am Howard Carnathan at ----curdog10@bellsouth.net---My site is --- www.americanblackmouthcur.com

Mr. Carnathan, I did not mean you when I suggested that something had slipped into the pen. That was not my intention at all. I was trying to find out if the build type was typical of your lilne of dogs. Please do not take offense as that was not how the post was directed. I went to your website and looked at some of the dogs, that is definately not what this dog is built like! The dog is several generations removed from your line of dogs, from what I understand. The dog's name is Buck, owned by Joey Barnes from Ideal, Georgia. I don't have his reg. number at the moment but will get it. The dog is a jam up good woods dog and will be bought. I couldn't ask for any better woods dog. I was only wondering about his build and breeding. The dog looks like a longer legged pit, real big headed, straight legged, very thick dog. I will try tpost a picture of him before the weekend. I was asking if he was typical of the line of dogs. I am sorry for any miscommunication on my part, I apoligize! Dave
