I have a cur mix that is a little over a year and a half. He is hunting real good, but my concern is that he is overweight. He started fattening up after being neutered and has not quit. His hunt has not been hurt by this, but I am concerned that it will eventually slow him down and let a hog get the better of him. If anyone has any suggestions I am open to try them. Travis Hobbs

Feed him "appropriate amounts" and hunt him regularly .... he will get in shape ..... when I was on "vaction from work" last grain season ... Id hunt my dogs 4 nights a week .... ALL NIGHT .... they looked a little "thin" but not malnourished .... a dog that hunts a LOT will be very lean .... by feeding right and getting excersise..he ought to "balance out" for ya.
