Moose have been in this country for many years , however they are believed to be extinct by most people now. But there are still some moose tracks reported from time to time, and some very high browsing lines in the tree's. They were released into Fiordland national park in August 1900, and then again in 1910 That was back in the days when men were men, and the government weren';t a bunch of sissys lol. It would be nice to try and get another herd of moose established again. Fiordland national park is located at the very bottom of the south island in the s/w. It is the most inhospitable place this country has to offer, with anual rainfall that is measured in meters rather than inches . It is also one of the most breath-taking places in the world.

Actually, theres a herd of those living in the bush not far from my house ;D, NOT!!! lmao. Only at the zoo man.
